Victorian Building Authority cracking down on illegal work activity with unlicensed gas appliance repairs and testing

Did you know that a Gas service and repair technician is a specialist class of Licensed gafitting.

A plumber with a Gasfitting License is not enough to cary out servcing, testing or repair! Make sure they have the specialist class ticked on their VBA card.

Not only do you need to hold a VBA gasfitting license you require the specialst class of Type A gas appliance servicing. This is part of the Victorian Plumbing act 2018 and requires the holder to be licesned in this specialist field.
